Internet Explorer

I have a software called Copernic Agent Pro, when i have done a search for a subject or word. It gives me some websites to look at, when I click browse it tells me that an error has occured in IE. I have uninstalled & installed Copernic but it still gives me the same message.

Can anyone tell me how to remedy this, should i install the Service Pack for IE.

When i click on my rubbish and my computer it tells that me “Project 11 – runtime error. type mismatch. Can anyone tell me how to remedy this

On
the webpages when i get IE, there are 4 icons on the top of the IE bar, how do i get rid of these.
