I have Windows XP SP3 and was running IE6 quite happily. I stupidly decided to upgrade to IE7, used it for a few days and didn’t like it so removed it via Add/Remove Programs.
The system has now rolled back to IE6 but the problem is whenever I right click and take “open in new window” it opens the site as requested but then also opens an extra blank IE window.
Whenever you click a link on a website that requests a new window to open again it opens 2 and the extra one is blank! Anyone any ideas?
I’ve scanned with Adaware and Spybot and system is malware free. Mcafee also reports there are no viruses present.
