IE 6.0 generates an error when I attempt to close a single IE window and results in the IE Error Reporting window and the closing of all IE windows I currently have open. I have tried to do an IE Repair Process in the Control Panel but I still havethe same problem. I am running Windows 98 SE which is currently up to date with all necessary updates. This problem just started over the last week and may be due to some software I attempted to install.
Should I attempt to re-install IE 6.0? I would prefer not to do this since I then have to also re-install all updates and patches to it. Is there anything else I can do? If not, do I need to uninstall IE 6.0 before I attempt to re-install it again?
