Internet Explorer 6.0

By dmallet ·
I have a computer running Windows 98 and have Internet Explorer 6.0 on it. When I start windows internet explorer I get the error message "iexplorer caused an invalid page fault in module kerne32.dll @ 0177:bff7a125. The home page which is MSN loads and then I get a message to send error report to Microsoft. After I close the error message Internet Explorer shuts down. I have uninstall version 6.0 and reinstalled but it has not helped. Any suggestions

Try this, do a disk Cleanup; then go to your temporary internet folder, and history folder and cookies folder and delete those items that are inside those files. Then go to either Ad-aware or Spybot website and download the free version of that software and install and run it. Because it sound like you might have spyware that can and will corrupt you IE browser.
