Internet Explorer

There is a computer I’m working on that has NT 4.0 w/ IE 2.O. Is there any way to upgrade IE, because MS will not allow me to go from IE 2 to IE 6. I’ve been to MS website but have been unable to locate anything other than 5.x and 6. There are some IE 4 service packs, but those won’t help. I’ve even browse 98/2000 CD for IE to copy, but now luck.
