Internet Explorer

Hi,

Why would I be able to view a website and the links on the website on one computer but not another? On the other computer the website comes up but the links are just an very dim outline of a box with a small x in the box and when clicking it nothing happens.
I believe it’s a setting,but not sure what to change..Tried upgrading to another version but same problem. Thank you.
