Hi,

Why would I be able to view a website and the links on the website on one computer but not another? On the other computer the website comes up but the links are just an very dim outline of a box with a small x in the box and when clicking it nothing happens.
I believe it's a setting, but not sure what to change..Tried upgrading to another version but same problem. Thank you.

Hi,
have a look off the toolbar at tools \ internet options \ advanced \ multimedia

to see if you have 'show pictures' ticked. if not, then tick it. Hope this helps....

Try downloading Flash 5.0 to see if that works. Some websites are built using Macromedia programs and operate better if you have the Flash media player.

Does this happen with every web site or only a particular one? If the answer is every web site, then are you sure that the second computer (the one where you can't use the links) is connected to the Internet? This type of behavior sounds like whatwould happen if you were opening a cached copy of a website while not actually connected to the Internet. Just a thought. . .
