Internet Explorer add in grief

Whenever a certain user logs onto his machine under his name, and tries to surf the net or network neighbourhood an error window “unable to create c:\winnt\cahcedul.dat”pops up and recreates itself. Using task manager stops the window from multiplying ad infinetum.

I can only get to shares on other machines if I map a network drive. And if I log on as admin for the machine there are no problems.

I removed the status bar sofware but still can’t solve the problem.
Any suggestions ?
