    Internet Explorer cannot find the Active Desktop HTML file.

    Internet Explorer cannot find the Active Desktop HTML file. This file is needed for your Active Desktop. To turn off Active Desktop, click OK.
    Please help me.
    Whenever I open my pc, this message appear repeating itself for almost a minute. it is really very annoying. could somebody please help me to identify the cause of the problem and the appropriate solution?

      What IE are you using? (I:E: internet explorer 6 or 7). If 6 then download the internet explorer 7 and this should fix the issue that you are having, if you have number 7 then download it again. If you are faced with a window that says “repair/ fix/ remove” click on remove and then re-install I:E 7. Please download I:E 7 BEFORE you do this. Hope everything turns out ok.
