Internet Explorer error !!

When i am in a web page and click on a link all that comes up is a blank browser page, Please Help !! I have uninstalled and re-installed I.E 5.0 on Windows 95, also tried various Java console options from (advanced) within I.E (options) tried installing service pack nothing is working.. Many thanks in advanced Folks !!

there is patch for this from microsoft, in internet explorer downloads. check out
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/Top10.asp (remove any spaces that may appear)

I have downloaded this update, installed it and re-booted, then tried to open a web link on a web page and a blank browser has once again appeared. Thanks for the tip anyway !

I think you should just upgrade to IE 5.5 or 6.0.
That should resolve the problem.

O.S. is more than likely corrupted. Get rid of that old stuff and just upgrade to 98 or XP. Microsoft no longer supports 95 and will be dropping support on 98 soon.

I agree that likely Windows itself is likely corrupted at this point. Uninstalling and reinstalling IE is almost as bad (after a few times) as trying to reload Windows on top of itself.

I would actually suggest dumping IE for Mozilla instead, if no other reason than its (relatively) stable.

I would suggest updating the to IE5.5,with 128 bit encryption using the upgrade and service packs of the java script that is supported by Win 95
