Internet Explorer PopUps

Not sure what triggers it, but whenever I have a browser open, could be opened to a blank page, on a set time interval I get a pop up advertisements of random sites. The site domain begins with http://www.srv2cpt.com, I’m not exactly sure where this trigger resides but I want to kill it, any help would be greatly appreciative.
