Internet Explorer problem.

By pawanmo ·
I have got a problm recently. When ever I open a internet explorer it automatically opens a search web site having diffrent name e.g. search group , netsearch etc. but having same ip address 81.211.105.9 Even if i reset home page and delete all history and temp. files through property dialog box of IE , this site again opens automaticaly.

How to solve this problm. I have checked all entries in HOST file but not a single entry there for this site.

Any solution ?

goto www.lavasoftusa.com

Download Adaware.

Install it

Update it

Customize it - Put green checkmarks in all the boxes and select all local hard drives

Run it

When it is done, you will find a list of malicous items in your computer. Right click on one of those items and click "SELECT ALL OBJECTS"

Hit next.

Close, Reboot. Do one more time.

Get a copy of Ad-aware, I don't have the web address for it, but just do a search on the name. It will scan your system for any type a spyware programs. Another good program to use is Spy-bot search and destroy.

ad aware and spybot search and destroy complement each other quite nicely.

Sounds like you might have installed HotBar or something similar.
Ad-Aware: http://www.lsfileserv.com/
SpyBot Search & Destroy: http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,22262,00.asp

Use them both; they're great together.
