With Internet Explorer 5.5 I can not open my home page says “Page cannot be displayed” and if I try to go to a different page it says “Internet Explorer could not open the search page.” I’ve tried repairing Internet Explorer, that didn’t work. While connected through my modem I can ping 127.0.0.1 and the DNS server, but nothing else. Any ideas would be great!!
With Audiogalaxy I get this error “can not create a new socket. If this is windows 95 make sure that you have Microsoft Winsock2 update installed from this website …” But I have Windows ME.
This all started when I installed Frogger, Frogger2, and Breakout (a demo on the CD). I have recently uninstalled all three programs and nothing was fixed.
Any help would be great
