I am a Network Manager at a Secondary school. We have a 2000 server and 98SE clients. Our internet access is routed through the councils filters to block out the majority of porn sites. However there are non-porn sites that would not normally be filtered out that still have no place in a school (mobile ring tones, games, chat etc..). We use Winsuite V.2.20 from NDI technologies to implement security on the desktops. An earlier version came with ‘Surf Manager’ which allowed us to keep trackof websites visited by our 1500 users and locally block websites deemed unsuitable. Our latest version of Winsuite no longer has this application so we are no longer able to control pupils web access as we would like. Do you know of any suitable software which could facilitate our needs? Thanks in advance for your help.
