Internet Information Server (IIS)

I am wanting to install IIS on the D drive rather than the C drive. However when I try to install it automatically installs on the C drive and does not give you an option to install elsewhere. Is there any way of installing on another drive, and if not, can you move the files over to another drive and update the registry acccordingly? The C drive is the route directory.
