I need to set up a PC to access the Internet for our members...how can I keep them out of everything else on the PC...such as the start menu, "run" line, control panel...etc?

Depending on the operating system of the pc you can use a couple of utilties to lock the computer down.

With window 95/98 use poledit
With windows NT use Ntpoledit
With windows 2000 use policies

Windows 2000 will give you much more control over the os as it uses client side dll giving you control over things like not allowing users to install printers or restricting cd rom access.

hope this helps !

You can try Technet article "How to Lock Down Windows NT and Internet Explorer 4.01 Desktop (Q198771):
http://support.microsoft.com/search/preview.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q198771
(please remove any spaces)

It also works for Win2K.

hope this helps
