I have an NT4/Exchange 5.5 system operating in a small business (mine). It is primarily there as a development resource so not really subject to normal procedures etc.
The Exchange Server currently reads all email for my Company (Whytec) and deposits the mail in appropriate boxes/folders.
I have now a need to accept all email from another group (global pop3 account) and perform a routing function. IE for incomming name1@group.com I would like to forward this to XYX@hotmail.com,etc. I’d also like to extend this to forwarding, say, committee@group.com to a distribution list.
I have succeeded in getting all of ‘groups’ email which is currently being forwarded to my administrator account (small traffic), so how do I complete the routing ???
PS You will have gathered I’m not really a net admin guy, I’m a developer with interest!
