Hi,
I am having some problems configuring a Dell Dimension 4100 P3 933Mhz desktop for DSL connectivity. I have everything working fine, but the problem is that when I happen to reboot the computer, the Internet Options revert to “Never Dial a Connection” instead of the previously stored “Dial whenever a network connection is not present”. This means that I have to manually go into the Internet Options each time and set the connection in order to get the connectivity on demand. This has come after a fresh installation of Win ME, with Office 2000, with a copy of Norton AntiVirus 2001 and the latest free Zonelabs software. I noticed the problem with IE 5.5, and upgrading it to v 6.0 had no effect on the system. Am completely baffled -can anyone suggest any circumstances where internet options are not saved on the reboot? Please let me know if I need to provide any further info such as ISP details.
Happy holidays!
Oliver
