    my company is tryiny to set up an isp, with location in Nigeria.i need a consultant that can possibly get the equipments needed and come down to nigeria to set it up if need be, and can give me a proposal and an estimate of what i need i.e the best and affordable equipments to set up considering the fact that i want my subcribers from at least 400 miles radius to be able to reach me using a wireless conection.
    please i need information on this urgently

      I can help with specification and design, but I believe that you’re going to need local talent for set-up. The closest I’m going to Africa is Busch Gardens Theme park. My globe trotter days are long over….

      I suspect that what you’re looking for might not be possible. 400 mile radius is much too far without laying in repeater towers. Off the top of my head, satellite would be feasible technically, but not financially, as subscriber cost would be astronomical(pun intended).

      All of this can be achieved. There would be a lot of variables to do with the wireless depending on the terrain and available towers. Since there would be no FCC regulations you could do a lot with amping the wireless signal.

      As far as pricinggoes my cost would be $350.00 a day and all travel expenses would need to be paid.
