I have an NT server connected to the internet with a DSL modem. I have a ’98 machine that logs into the NT server. Internet connection is fine on the server but it doesn’t work on the ’98 machine. Must I use a proxy server or can I set up the theserver’s ethernet card’s IP as a default gateway on the ’98? I am using DHCP for the servers client(s) (soon to be more than one ’98 machine). If I can use the server as a default gateway how do I set it up in DHCP config manager?
E-mail me if you need more info.
