Read the TechRepublic article on "Home Networks".

It tells how to do it and there is a link to the "Linksys" web site for the hardware to make it work.

There is also another product from Intel that does the same thing.

There are a couple of key pieces of information missing from your question, the primary one being what OS you are running.

If you're running Win98SE or Win2K, you can probably use Internet Connection Sharing to do what you want to do. If you're not, the answer will require either third-party software (e.g. Sygate) or a hardware router (e.g. Linksys).

If you can add this information to your post, I'll be glad to make an attempt to put you in touch with the right setup information.

The OS in all 3 workstations are Win98 SE.
The ISP providing this DSL service is flashcom and they have given me an IP address for one PC and an IP for the IDSL box (CopperRocket201).
I used to use Microsoft's Internet Connection Sharing (ICS), when i had dialup access, and i was able to have internet access from all three pc's on my peer network (i was using the 169.254.1.x that ICS automatically assigned).
Now i have to use the static IP address that flashcom provided me (64.188.x.x) when i installed/setup the ICS, ICS does not work!

Go here:
http://www.smc.com/index.cfm?sec=Products&pg=Product-Details&prod=67&site=c

Look at this SMC7004ABR. 4-port switch, DHCP server, with a rs232 port for dial-up modems.

Sets up easy and can keep a dial-up connection active if desired.
Good Luck Lee

If you do not need a dial-up solution you can use an ethernet router gateway. It will utilize the static ip and nat up to 254 computers to it.

Linksys BEFSR11
Dlink DI-804HV
Netgear RP114

There are other units out there. Each Manufacturer has several different units.

I don't think Intel is into this market yet.
