I have a Acer PIII SX 800 Mhz processor and would like to know is there any problem if i replaced with a same size 370 socket to new 866Mhz Intel processor.
I just screw up the original Acer PIII 800Mhz processor.
Thank you.

Should be no problem. You will probably have to go into bios and adjust the Clock Frequency and Multiplier. Some of the newer boards outdetect processor and make the adjustment for you. Enjoy your new processor.
