I have established an intranet with now 6 computers on it. It will be more in the near future. I had cable modem installed and the RJ-45 was put into the switch. Before doing this every computer was able to be seen on the network. How can I resolve this problem…. It was suggested that I set up a second nic into each machine that I want to go to the internet and the other nic for the intranet. This to me sounds like an expensive work around. The 2nd suggestion was to install a gateway in between the cable modem and the switch. What would you suggest??? I am going to have to go to work later today to resolve this problem. Its now 10:30am.
