I am building new tables in a 2.5 gig access 2000 database that is replacing a smaller one that was in Access 97. The tables I am creating are basically the same as used in the old database. I will start a qmak query up and get a “Invalid Argument”. If I change it to a qsel query, I get the answer I need. Sometimes an exit from Access 2000 and restarting will allow the qmak query to work. The same query works in Access 97. I have checked each selection in the query out and all are correct. What is causing the ?Invalid Argument??
