You did not specify the type of invalid page fault
Use the www.microsoft.com/knowledgebase
Click on the Start>Find>Files or Folders and type in kernal32.dll,once it is located, click the file and delete, restart the computer
Open explorer and clickon Tools, then Internet Options, selectAdvanced tab and in the list locate MIcrosoft VM and check the last box
You can also use the microsoft knowledgebase to find solution http://support.microsoft.com

What programs are you running when this happens? Chances are you might have a memory problem somewhere or your swap file settings might be off.

First step, reboot into dos, and delete win386.swp, should be in the root directory where windows is, if not, look in c:\windows.

If that does not solve the problem, go to Microsoft Downloads and search for kernel32.dll, there is an updated version available, check the date to be sure it's not the one you already have.
I'm just guessing, but you are probably getting it while running IE, if so, try upgrading to IE 5.5

This is
"Invalid Page Fault Error Message When UpdatingDevice Driver"
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you are using CompuServe 4.0.1 or you installed and then uninstalled CompuServe 4.0.1 without removing all of its components.

The Virtual Key program included with CompuServe 4.0.1 is incompatible with the Windows Update site when you attempt to update drivers using the Update Device Driver Wizard in Device Manager.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, contact CompuServe to obtain an updated version of Virtual Key.

To work around this behavior, remove Virtual Key using the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel.
