Invalid Syntax error In IE

By jonno112 ·
When i try to get into google or yahoo or most webpages i get an error page coming up and invalid syntax error in the top blue section.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I also could not download the latest java because the security section would not allow it.

I have checked in the internet options and security is set to medium and file downloads is enabled.

Thanks in advance.

The article mentions nothing about a syntax error in the blue section that i am getting.

I have printed the article and will give it a go.

Thanks for the reply

To get a more detailed explanation of your syntax error uncheck the box labeled "show friendly http error messages". Do this by going into tools - internet options - advanced. This may help give you a clue as to what is actually going on. Under the security section of your browser, you have to click reset to make changes apply. Try the lowest just to see if that may help.
