Inverted Video

My kids were on the computer and misteriously the image on the monitor is upside down.
What would cause this.
They have No idea what they did to cause tis to happen

Your video card has the capability of doing this, it's a usefull feature for flipping the display if you were connected to a projector. There are usually hotkeys that wil lenable this feature, and chances are they accidently hit them. Usually, you can disable the hot key combinations from within the video card settings. On my Radeon card, the combo is ctrl alt up (arrow key). Right click on your desktop, select properties from the pop up box, settings, advanced, and look for a rotation tab, or something similar.

Your flatpanel display may also have this rotating orientation feature, or they've completely tricked you and the entire house is actually upside-down.

It could also be, but not likely, gag software that flips the user interface just to make you go mad.
