Iomega Backup Devices

By cruffin ·
Running Win98SE (I know, but I'm new to this company and haven't learned the upgrade route yet) on an HP laptop, I finagled an Iomega 250 Zip drive. Downloaded/installed latest drivers, Windows recognizes device, and I can read data from disks. Trying to use Windows generic backup utility, it does not recognize there is a backup device, and searches for a .inf file, and of course there is none.
Any suggestions?
