Suddenly I can no longer access my printers or other devices from my (or any) workstation , through my web browser , by using the IP addresses (it just times out). It works fine though if I'm trying the same thing on my 2000 file server (wkstns. are Xp).
I have no idea what would've caused this, there were no major network changes lately other than removing the Novell clients from the worksattions, (which the FileServer doesn't have or had either)

Are you using a proxy server ? If so check the LAN settings for IE and make sure that the Bypass proxy server for local addresses is ticked. Just to be sure go into the advanced settings and add http://192.168.0.* (or whatever your local address are - remember to put a * in for the last octect) inot the 'Do not use proxy server for addresses begining with:' section
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem.
