I made a Windows 2000 network and connected it to an existing domain to get their DSL Internet. After numerous difficulties, I tried to eliminate the original server and get the new server to pick up all of the clients in both domains. Even with theold server unplugged, however, I still had an IP conflict probably from the router. I have not been able to reconfigure the router. Someone told me there must be a password that I need. Should I try a new router and see if that clears up the IP conflict?
