IP Contact Centre

By scdcambs ·
I have a mid sized Cisco VOIP installation and an old traditional PBX (can you tell that I dont know voice that well, even after 3 years of it) about 700 handsets on each. I am looking at replacing an aging siemens HIPath contact centre with one that runs over the Cisco voice network. Obviously im looking at Cisco's offering but also at IPFX's contactcentre. Has anyone experience of either or both of these that would like to share. Or even throw in some other vendors that I may want to investigate that would also use Cisco telephony infrastructure? 25-50 agents. TIA.

Interactive Intelligence

You should definately look into Interactive Intelligences CIC - It will do as a standalone IP platform, or will integrate with Cisco voice platform..
I have worked with Cisco UCCx and InIn's CIC and the later is by far the more versatile choice.

IPFX will be able to integrate into the environment you describe, I have worked with IPFX and Cisco's call centre products, and IPFX is probably the easiest to use.

I suppose it really comes down to what you want to do with the software, ie how complex do you need the queues to be..

Can you elaborate, and are there other features you need such as Voicemail Presence etc.?

PBX the right way

by Neilm5151 In reply to IP Contact Centre

Good Day

Just had a look at the questions you raised. I am with Connection-Telecom and we specialise in Voip and IP PBX System. Before rushing into a solution i would suggest that we come and sit down with you and have a look at what exactly your business requirements are and provide a Taylor Made solution.

Its more than just having a Voip solution, there are so many different functions to suite all your needs.

Pop me a Mail at if you're interested.

Regards Neil
