IP Redirection!

By phate5180 ·
Ok, so I have heard of a few different ways to do this from what I've read but I want to get someone's opinion. We have a server set up in America that hosts our corporate intranet site. We have partners in Australia that may want to access our site. How do we redirect the IP route to point to Australia in the most effcient way? Do we need to somehow "mirror" the site so they can access it quickly? Urgent help is appreciated!

Create a backup server in good old Aus, and make it sync. with the American server (at 11.30pm). That way, the server will have great pickup and can be accessed locally. Another is to use VPN to get two ips and make a connection (tunnel) through the Inet to the otehr office (remeber Australia has ADSL, ISDN, T-Carrier, FR, ATM. We are not completly backwards...)

How do the Americans access the intranet site? Via the Internet? VPN? Then set the Australians to do the same thing.
