I have just got connected to the Internet via DSL modem and i have also use DSL Router from Linksys to share the broadboand connection to some of our network users. The problem is that the DSL router can only support class c submask and while our existing network is class b. To work-around it, i have assigned another IP address with class c submask to those workstation that needs to get connected to the internet via the DSL connection. Though the method works most of the time, it does get problem like unable to access the network (Internet). For example, when the user uses the local network resources for sometime and when try to to access the internet again, it usually lead to unable to access the internet. I suspect it is the routingproblem.
