Sorry for all the dupes under geek@nls.net but it kept saying I wasn’t logged in, even though I was so I figured they weren’t being accepted…then I saw all of them listed with it saying I was deleted…Why???

I need helpquick.
Assume the following
Firewall internal IP = 192.168.5.50
Firewall external IP = 241.242.255.243
If I needed to yank the firewall because it died and I won’t get it fixed
for 24 hours and needed internet access in the mean time…
Could I set up a W2k box with two NICs (one at 192.168.5.50 and one at
240.242.255.243) to handle this routing? What else would be involved?
Just to negate a couple of ideas. THe intitial T1 router belongs to the
phone company…I can NOT TOUCHIT. It of course is on the 241.242.x.x net
lets say it’s 240.242.255.242 for grins).
Yes I know how dangerous things would be without the firewall and no I
wasn’t quite dumb enough to post actual IPs 🙂
Is there another quick workaround I’m missing?
