I have 2 W2K Advanced servers (running independent of each other) with 2 ip addresses. My requirement is to present a single IP to the outside world so that I can achieve failover. Is there any device which does simple IP switching between these 2 servers, and for the outside, they appear as a single IP ? I dont want to use MS Cluster.
‘am not sure if layer 4 switching device can accomplish the above.
Please help!
