I looked at the IPAD2 and I really like the device, but I find without JAVA I can not use it for my corporate VPN access and remote desktop. It basically a very cool and very expensive email and browser tool that can’t do what my cheap XP netbook can do. I really like it, but I need that Java support. Do they ever plan to come out with a tablet that supports Java? My understanding is that some of this would impact the battery life if JAVA was supported.
