I’m running mostly Windows 2000 clients with IPSec filtering and the Cisco VPN v3.6x.
When first installed the VPN client disables the IPSec services, but the filters can be applied afterwards and run without problems.
Under Windows XP, this doesn’t work. I can run one or the other, but not both. With VPN running and trying to start the IPSec service, I get an error 10048: cannot start service because only socket can be use at a time (or close to that).
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this, or get around it, so both will work?
