I have 2 servers in different locations. I have a IPsec VPN tunnel that is up and running. 4 out of 5 PCs on a LAN can map to shares on the other servers LAN. These PCs are XPro and 1 is 2K pro O.Ss. When I go to the start button the click on run and type \\10.10.1.1 which is the remote server IP I get “network path not found”. The other 4 PCs return with shared folders when I do this. I cannot ping this IP on the 1 machine but can do it on the others. When I look at packets sent and received, the sent packet increase but the received packets do not change. I can remote managed the remote machine through a web browser but cannot see the shares on that server. Seems to be an issue with this 1 local work station. Anyone have clue as to what is causing this workstation not to see the remote shares?
