Hello,
I bought a M-Audio DELTA 1010 LT Audio card.
The manual is saying, The audio card has to work on a IRQ 15 or Lower.( 15 is the best – why I would not know)
They also tell you to disable the onboard sound card, what I did.
Result is after installing latest driver and hardware the audio card received a IRQ of 18.
The device is indicated in device managaer as being without Problems, but it HAS problems.
The sound sample rate is flipping from 44100 to 22.000, or from 48000 to 22.000.
HOW can I change the IRQ ?
Following Microsoft,…you can?t. Just try to change the PCI port, what I tried, and gives me a IRQ of 19 instead of 18.??
I need a IRQ of 15 or lower.
How to proceed?
Have a K7S8X asrock motherboard, and a Atlon AMD 2400+ 2000Mhz, 266, and 2 2Gb of memory.
I even disabled in the bios the LTP port , ( I don?t use this port anyhow) but nothing helps.
Please some advice how to Force the audio card to take for example IRQ 10 ( this one seems to be available )
Other problem is also that in the device manager USE AUTO SETTINGS is Greyed out.
Some Other devices are NOT greyed out.?
Hope somebody can help me.
Warm regards, and thank you in advance,
Werner
