IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR EQUAL BSOD

NEED HELP.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR EQUAL BSOD appears on startup.

Have not installed anything since last year.

Running on Windows XP.
Service Pack 2.
DELL.

I have 3 computers one is a laptop. I have delt with this situation recently. What did it for me was to go into bios and disable all the onboard hardware. I mean everything. usb, serial, parallel, audio ect. Once all is disabled that can be as far as hardware. I did a reformat then fresh install, but you can run the windows advanced installation and choose to repair you current windows installation. With all the hardware disabled except the keyboard and video. everything should go smooth. once windows is repaired and no error messeges have occured. then go back and re-enable you hardware. once you boot back up windows will install all the drivers. It would be good to try to find out which driver or drivers conflicted. then reinstall the drivers from the hardware manufactor. Thats what worked for me. Let me know if this helps.

You have a driver incompatibility.
