It appears that Jeff Bezos is fighting back with a low priced and feature improved Kindle. Wi-fi only, still Black and White but with a month long battery. Is this enough to make you reconsider your earlier predictions about the eventual demise of kindles and nooks?

battery life has not changed much, I get about a month out of mine (Kindle V2, international version)
wifi is all and good, but you don't really need it, I hardly use the 3G in it
only real difference is the size of the unit.
and I don't think there will be a demise of the kindle/nook, for those (like me) who want an ebook reader that they can use anywhere, there is no other choice

Is $139 Kindle just another form of denial?
