Is anyone in the same boat as me?

by farrellbros . Updated 24 years ago

I am currently finishing my MCSE in school at this time & although I have over 10 years of PC hardware building, troubleshooting & maintenance experience as well as lots of customer service experience, i have yet to even find a perspective job here in the market, I have over 50 letters of recommendation from companies & persons who I have done work for inthe past. I’ll admit that my networking skills are not 100% because I waited until I was 34 to take my MCSE but, I have been told I have an advanced learning track & have been able to learn almost anything put in front of me in short timeframes. What do you think I should do? Be honest…

Is it that hard to get a job with over 10 years experience? I’v always had work until my last employer got bought out by an american firm, they practically laid all of us off… I was the last to go. I live in toronto canada if you haven’t gathered it by now.

I was wondering if a guy like me can’t find work & I’m considered a guru by alot of the clients I’ve dealt with in the past. I really don’t have the money to take the 4 years to get a degree.

If there’s an employeer out there in toronto looking for a good rock solid investiment…. I chanllenge you to give me a shot!

Not that this is a subject guys but I’m sure there are alot of people just like me out there. I just thought I would use this medium to get my point out to all of those employers I know that read articles like this.

Regards to all
