Is going into business right at this time

By naeemahsan ·
Hello everyone,

I would like to know if this is the right time to go into business. If yes what sort of IT business would be lucrative.

If not should one take up a low paying job offer.

What are IT consultants and Project Managers doing these days.

low pay is better than no pay

In a recession consultants disappear before salaried staff - we are about to lose one here. If you have a really good idea for something your new software house can make and sell, see if you can find a financial backer, but if you tell us one of us might steal the idea.

A low-paying job gives you a history which can be useful inside the same firm or for transfer to another. Thank God for whatever you can get, while looking out for better.

In 2000 I was unwillingly away from I.T. but found work in the Census, which was sometimes interesting, twice gave me the opportunity to give someone my r?sum?, and reduced the amount of debt I was getting into to pay the rent and groceries. Also, it improved my credit for unemployment benefit.
