Is Iran using Roxana Saberi to put Obama in his place?

Roxana, had orginally been arrested for working without press credentials, but the charges changed. In a one hour, closed door session, was found guilty of spying for the US.

She is going to serve eight years for this.

If this were a valid offense, she would/could/should have gotten the death penalty.

Is this reporter being used to see how Obama will react?

What can/could/should he do?

What do you think he will do?

Will this hurt his attempts to change relations with countries that have been considered our enemies?
