With power applied, my PC will not boot. The monitor opens in the powersave mode; the CD-ROM lights, but will not read the Restore CD; C drive lights; the A drive will not light or read any inserted disks which makes the bootdisk useless. I installed a new A drive & got the same no light, no read. I tested power to the A drive & that was ok. Where else can I look for a solution? I’m a real novice wanting to learn.
