Exchange has a tool called import and export. You create a file in csv format and the first line contains the headers (firstname, lastname, email address and dl membership) The options are too much to name here so you will have to search microsoft'sweb site.

To add to answer 1 the only way is to import your addresses is from a .csv file and then use the directory import ( on the tools menu in admin) and the simplest way to find the format for the .csv is to add one dummy entry in the way you want it (oruse an existing one ) and then export it so you can see the format of each column in the file. you can then create the rest in the csv file. One thing to note is when you finish setting up your file, open it in notepad and add a <CR> (press enter) after the last entry to ensure that the last item gets imported
