Is it possible that this motherboard is brand new? Weird stains

Hello, I recently bought a (brand new) Gigabyte X570 Aorus Ultra motherboard and I discovered some weird-looking stains (looks like glue residue) and I have been told that it is most probably flux residue.

See the photos I took here: https://imgur.com/gallery/nRXKLKo

If you are experienced with hardware and motherboards, do you think that this board could indeed be brand new? Thank you for your time.

UPDATE: Gigabyte themselves have verified that this is not a new board

And they do look like Flux Residue because these are soldered in a Wave Soldering Machine the entire side of the Board passes through a wave of molten solder which may not be hot enough to burn off all the flux.

And Gigabyte is correct they are unable to do anything unless you send them the Board and quite correctly have suggested you take it up with who you bought it from.

Gigabyte verified that this is definitely not new

I’m sorry, I should have updated my question sooner. It looks like Gigabyte has 2 different support pages. Once I contacted them on esupport.gigabyte.com they verified that this is definitely not a new board.
Unfortunately it is impossible for to return this for the next 4 months due to work. I have asked for a partial refund from the supplier and I’ll see what happens.
