Is it possible to connect 2 separate networks at the Access Point?

Hi,

I am working with a POS vendor that insists on having a completely separate network. Not subnetted or VLAN, but separate firewall, everything, but need the use of the access points. Is there a recommended way to do this? We would normally use VLANning, and in theory, I believe we could still use VLANs to accomplish this, but have never actually done a setup like this. Any recommendations?

Is this will be some special kind of access point or it’s going to require one AP for normal use and another AP and network for the special use.

Their specs so you build out a system and quote it out.

Hi, I do not know if it is possible to programmatically set two networks to one access point (I think it is impossible) but I searched a little on the Internet and found a hardware method, although it is also difficult because you need not only to know how to connect it, but also to be able to program 😀 since it is without ready-made software, however, I do not fully know whether this is the case or not… In general, this is a modem that can accept several networks at once and collect them into one access point, I think if you read it yourself, it will be more understandable hahaha. … is that they definitely are asking for completely separate infrastructure (“absolutely nothing shared”.)

So by attempting to share the APs you are defeating their requirement specs – just an opinion …
