Is it possible to install PPTP (VPN) bet

By venraju ·
Hi

I would like to establish a VPN between two branches. Is it possible to do it by using a PPTP? I know how to configure PPTP (VPN) server and support for remote users. Is there a way to communicate between two PPTP servers? All the users behind the servers must be able to communicate by using a secure channel. One LAN is in one continent and other in another continent. Both are having 24 hours inter net connectivity. I know the AXENT and Firewall – 1 VPN’s but I would like to use this one by using Microsoft PPTP. I appreciate any help on this.

To connect the two branches what you need is RRAS + VPN.
You can get the info from my Web site www.softsolutionsconsul.com and go to network

Good Luck!

It is possible to do it only with RRAS. RAS wont work because it is built for client/server communications only. If you need exact instructions on how to set RRAS and PPTP, feel free to email me.
