Is it safe to eject a flash card from a live 7206 router?

By ibanezrick ·
I want to use the flash card from our live 7206 router to boot up a lab 7206 that has a blank flash card in it currently. Will ejecting the flash card from the live router cause any problems?

Perhaps I overlooked it, but I didn't see anything about hot swappable. It seems like it's probably okay to do though.

Yes...

Once your router has booted off flash and loaded into DRAM you will be able to remove the flash PCMCIA card.
You may see an error like "%FILESYS-5-CF: CompactFlash removed" but the router will stay up and operational.
