A recent BBC story (http://tinyurl.com/53lebr) points out that anti-Americanism is on the rise in Pakistan. It seems American actions are almost universally blamed for the increased attacks by the Taleban.
The current tactics are doing little to win hearts and minds and much to increase hatred of Americans. I think it’s time the US backed its forces out of Afghanistan and returned to surveillance and covert operations to identify and locate terrorists.
